Julia Wandelt, 24, who witnesses stated has persistently asserted she was the disappeared Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are standing trial accused with harassing Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February the current year.
On Monday, the tribunal was told phone records and information retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test during 2023 and 2024.
Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is considered the most covered investigations and continues to be unsolved.
'I Do Not Need Money'
One voicemail, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm overweight and not pretty like Madeleine had been, but I believe what I believe."
While one recording of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone said: "What if there is a tiny probability that I'm her? What then? Isn't that important for you?"
"I don't want money, I maintain a life here in Poland, I only wish to know," she added.
The tribunal was advised that via electronic messages, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a bid to display a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.
The investigator, an investigator with the police force who gathered the evidence, told the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.
Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the call data.
On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann picked up a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."
That day Ms Wandelt deposited a recording on Mrs McCann's answerphone stating "I will persist and I plan to establish my position."
The court was informed Mrs Spragg established a connection via internet with Ms Wandelt prior to assisting her on a visit to the McCanns' home in Leicestershire in that winter.
Call logs demonstrated Mrs Spragg had contacted via messaging service to Mrs McCann to express the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she deserved to be treated respectfully in the months before the visit to Rothley, Leicestershire, in that winter.
The court learned message exchanges between the two individuals, in November 2024, considering endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's genetic material from her trash or from utensils at a eating establishment.
"We must make a stand," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.
On the evening of the visit to their house, the defendant sent a text which said: "We're currently positioned adjacent to the McCanns' house with our headlights off resembling private investigators. I wanted to do this with another person I didn't imagine I would be doing that with the McCanns."
