'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Loved Ones of Unaccounted For Teens Desperately Seek Answers After Alpine Blaze

The families of teens missing after a deadly fire at a bar in a Switzerland's alpine town are confronting an agonising period of uncertainty for confirmed information and pleading for any details about their children publicly.

The inferno ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Confirmed video depict the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Authorities have stated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the victims of the fire, which killed numerous partygoers and hurt another over a hundred. A spokesperson stated on the latest update that the majority of the those hurt have been identified, with work continuing to name the final individuals.

In the meantime, families and friends have been using the internet to request information about their friends who were at the bar that fateful night.

Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For

The location of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are not yet determined, according to an public plea from his parent.

The resident of Lutry near the city, told a publication that she had gone back to the city to check whether he was in the medical facility, while his other parent did the equivalent search in the capital, but did not locate him.

"It feels like a terrible dream, a nightmare. Either I find my son in the morgue, or I find him in critical condition. Words cannot describe it," she stated.

She continued that some of his friends had been located with injuries covering a significant portion of their bodies. "There are no words; they experienced hell."

The Italy's government has said that six of its young people have not been located.

Teenage sportsman Emanuele Galeppini, 16, was last in contact around midnight on December 31st, as stated by.

One of those is Emanuele Galeppini, a teenage junior golfer, originally from Genoa but now residing in the UAE.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is no longer with us, without mentioning the fire, paying tribute to a "talented young man who carried with him passion and true sportsmanship."

His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An official spokesperson has stated that a official announcement of his death is not yet.

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His parent said that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with a group and ended up at the bar.

"A close friend said they escaped after the fire erupted and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he couldn't see him anymore," she recounted, adding he had been wearing a identifiable gold chain.

One of his teachers commented, "I remember his kindness and positive demeanor, coupled with great maturity. Every time ask if get me a coffee."
