Young golfer getting ready for major competition

This young athlete boasts considerable online following

The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known backers when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates numerous golf courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically suggested to play and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions recently and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's an even better human being. He advised me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that her participation brings golf to different demographics, specifically reaching younger fans.

Kai has substantial online presence and just introduced her own apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
